Authorizes the Plymouth County Retirement System to credit Judy Hartigan with service for retirement benefits.
The bill allows the Plymouth County Retirement System to grant Judy Hartigan, the Rockland Town Collector, creditable service for her work with the Town of Rockland from April 11, 2009, to the present. This creditable service will determine her retirement allowance. Before her retirement allowance becomes effective, she must pay into the retirement system's annuity savings fund an amount equivalent to what would have been deducted from her compensation if she had been a member of the system.
