Relative to public safety personnel

Allows certain retired public safety personnel to provide consulting services to municipalities.

This bill amends Chapter 32 of the General Laws to allow retired public safety personnel from Group IV to provide consulting services to municipalities. This applies to those who retire and subsequently serve as the Secretary of Public Safety and Security, the Undersecretary of Public Safety and Security, or are employed by the Municipal Police Training Committee or the Department of Fire Services Academy. The services must not involve a conflict of interest.
