Establishes a commission to study and report on collective bargaining stalemates in Massachusetts.
The bill establishes a Collective Bargaining Resolution Commission to research and report on the effects of impasses in collective bargaining negotiations between public employers and employee unions. The Commission will include members appointed by the Governor, the Speaker of the House, and the Senate President, as well as representatives from the Massachusetts Teachers Association, the American Federation of Teachers, and public employers. The Commission will submit its findings to the Legislature by July 31, 2026.
