Massachusetts H2763 mandates divestment from companies doing business with Myanmar by the state's public pension funds.

Massachusetts H2763 requires the state's public pension funds to divest from companies conducting business with Myanmar. The Pension Reserves Investment Trust and the Pension Reserves Investment Management Board must identify and divest from scrutinized companies within specified timeframes. The funds must also refrain from acquiring new securities of these companies. The act exempts the funds from conflicting obligations and mandates annual reporting on divestment actions. The divestment process will cease if it threatens the funds' financial stability. The act expires when the U.S.
