Massachusetts H2681 prohibits local governments from enacting laws on lawful gun ownership, use, and possession.

Massachusetts H2681 amends Chapter 140 to prevent counties, municipalities, townships, and other community entities from enacting laws concerning lawful ownership, use, possession, transfer, purchase, receipt, or transportation of weapons, antique weapons, ammunition, or ammunition components. This bill seeks to protect the rights of lawful gun owners by limiting local government authority over these matters.
