Massachusetts H2652 amends Chapter 140 of the General Laws to require holders of certain licenses, owners or operators of motor vehicle repair shops, junkyards, or automobile graveyards, and anyone selling or storing motor vehicle batteries to display notice of the presence of these batteries. The notice must be prominently visible to the public and first responders. Violation of this requirement is subject to a civil penalty of $250.
