Establishes an independent correctional oversight office to dismantle structural racism in Massachusetts correctional facilities.

The bill creates an independent correctional oversight office to address structural racism in Massachusetts correctional facilities. The office, named the Inclusion, Diversity, Anti-Racism, and Equity Unit (IDAREU), will be headed by an anti-racism corrections inspector general.
