Massachusetts H2512 mandates health care practitioners to clearly display their licensure details in all communications and during patient encounters.
Massachusetts H2512 requires health care practitioners to clearly identify their licensure details in all forms of advertising and during patient interactions. This includes wearing a photo identification name tag during patient encounters, displaying their license type in their office, and ensuring all communications are free from deceptive or misleading information. Health care practitioners working in non-patient care settings are exempt from these requirements. Failure to comply constitutes a violation of this act and Chapter 93A of the general laws.
