Massachusetts H2473 amends emergency medical services oversight by establishing procedures for complaint investigations and creating an advisory.

Massachusetts H2473 amends the oversight of emergency medical services by establishing procedures for the investigation of complaints concerning certified, licensed, or designated personnel. The Department of Public Health must investigate every complaint received, except when the act or practice does not violate any regulations. The bill also creates an emergency medical services peer licensure advisory committee to advise on the complaint resolution process and disciplinary actions.
