Massachusetts H2046 amends laws to criminalize possession of pill press machines for illegal drug manufacturing.

Massachusetts H2046 amends existing law to make it unlawful for any person to possess, purchase, deliver, sell, or possess with intent to sell or deliver a tableting machine, an encapsulating machine, drug molds, or counterfeiting materials with the knowledge or intent that it will be used to manufacture a controlled substance or counterfeit controlled substance. Violators face felony charges, with penalties including up to 5 years in prison, a fine of up to $25,000, or both.
