Massachusetts H1972 adjusts judicial compensation and pensions based on the Consumer Price Index for Urban Workers for the Northeast Region.

Massachusetts H1972 amends the General Laws to adjust the compensation of justices of the supreme judicial court, appeals court, and trial court departments based on the Consumer Price Index for Urban Workers for the Northeast Region starting July 1, 2025. It also adjusts the annual pension for justices who have reached the mandatory retirement age of 70.
