Introduced·2/27/25
Introduced Text

Expedites the transfer of cases to the permit session of land court in Massachusetts.

This bill amends the General Laws of Massachusetts to expedite the transfer of cases to the permit session of land court. It requires a party to file a notice of transfer within 30 days after serving the complaint on the last defendant, detailing the grounds for permit session jurisdiction and the absence of a valid claim for a jury trial. The notice must be signed and include copies of all relevant documents. The filing party must also send a copy of the notice to all other parties and file an affidavit of this action with both courts.
