Introduced·2/27/25
Introduced Text

Massachusetts H1632 amends legal advertisement requirements for online-only newspapers.

Massachusetts H1632 modifies the legal advertisement requirements for online-only newspapers. It specifies that publication on the newspaper's own website and a statewide website satisfies the publication requirement. Additionally, it exempts errors caused by website operators or temporary outages from being considered defects in publication, as long as the notice appears correctly on either website and meets other legal notice requirements.
