Massachusetts H1533 amends the General Laws to require the director of the emergency shelter program to hold at least one community meeting in the host community at least one month before opening any emergency overflow shelter. Notice of the meeting must be posted on the executive office of housing and livable communities' website and sent to the host community. This act takes effect immediately upon passage.
