The bill creates the Caregiver to Adults with Disabilities Fund within the Board of Higher Education. This fund will receive revenue from appropriations, interest, and donations. The fund will also cover administrative expenses. Any unexpended balance will remain in the fund for future use. The state comptroller will transfer $4,125,000 from the General Fund to the new fund within 14 days of the bill's effective date.
