This bill amends the definition of family members eligible to serve as caregivers under MassHealth to include legally liable family members. These include biological, adoptive, foster or step parents, legal guardians, powers of attorney, healthcare powers of attorney, and adult children of care recipients. The executive office of health and human services must file a state plan amendment or waiver application to implement these changes.
