This bill amends Section 20C of chapter 32 of the general laws to allow a board member to petition the commission for a waiver of their removal and exclusion from future board service if they miss the deadline for filing their statement of financial interest. The waiver is contingent on the member filing their statement by a date set by the commission. This act takes effect upon its passage.
