Massachusetts H1264 requires the Pension Reserves Investment Management Board to divest from any investments in weapons of mass destruction (WMD) entities within 12 months. The Public Fund must identify and report all such investments to the attorney general and legislative clerks. State agencies must also review and terminate contracts with WMD entities. The bill defines WMD entities as those involved in manufacturing, producing, promoting, selling, or distributing WMDs. The Public Fund is exempt from conflicting obligations in complying with this act.
