Massachusetts H1097 amends homeowners' insurance regulations, requiring insurers to submit hurricane loss models to the attorney general for review.

Massachusetts H1097 amends the state's homeowners' insurance regulations by requiring insurers to submit hurricane loss models to the office of the attorney general for review before being admitted as evidence in rate proceedings. If an insurer fails to submit required items, the commissioner of insurance must direct the insurer to remove the hurricane loss projection from its filing.
