Establishes a wildland acquisition account funded by wildland conservation stamp sales for wildlife habitat protection.
This bill creates a wildland acquisition account within the Inland Fisheries and Game Fund, funded by sales of wildland conservation stamps and portions of fees from fishing, sporting, trapping, and hunting licenses. The account will be used exclusively for purchasing land containing wildlife habitat and for administering the wildland stamp program. Two dollars and fifty cents from each stamp sale will be dedicated to habitat management on Division of Fisheries and Wildlife lands.
