Provides housing within the Manuel F. Correllus State Forest for the superintendent and other employees.
The bill amends Chapter 21 of the General Laws to provide housing within the Manuel F. Correllus State Forest. The department will make the existing house available without charge to the superintendent of the state forest on Martha’s Vineyard. If the superintendent chooses not to live in the house, it will be made available to other employees of the department who care for the forest, on the same terms.
