Increases state reimbursement for municipalities and Indian tribes' general assistance costs from 70% to 90%.

This bill raises the state reimbursement rate for municipalities and Indian tribes' general assistance costs. For municipalities and tribes receiving the highest reimbursement from 2021 to 2025, reimbursement increases from 70% to 90% in steps by 2030. For all other municipalities and tribes, reimbursement increases to 90% starting July 1, 2026. The bill defines "Indian tribe" as per section 411, subsection 8-A.
