Resolves to review efficiencies in the licensing of solid waste disposal facilities by the Department of Environmental Protection.

This resolve directs the Department of Environmental Protection to review the requirements in statute, department rules and department policies that apply to the licensing of solid waste disposal facilities. The purpose of the review is to identify efficiencies and inefficiencies in the license review process. The review must include a general review of the license review process and a targeted review of the license review process related to the Penobscot Energy Recovery Company's waste-to-energy facility in the Town of Orrington.
