Failed·4/29/26
Tpdf Text

Maine LD896 aims to ensure continuous health care eligibility for children in Medicaid from birth through a certain age.

Maine LD896 requires the Department of Health and Human Services to apply for a federal waiver or demonstration project to provide continuous eligibility for children in the Medicaid program from birth through a certain age. Continuous eligibility must be maintained through the end of the month in which the child attains a certain age. Eligibility may be terminated if the child is no longer a resident, the parent or guardian requests termination, the child dies, or the department determines the eligibility was erroneously granted.
