Expands the earned paid leave exception for employers providing more hours of paid leave.

This bill amends the Maine Revised Statutes to expand the earned paid leave exception. It exempts employers who provide employees with a certain number of hours of paid leave during the calendar year from the laws governing earned paid leave. This change applies to employers with employees covered by a collective bargaining agreement between January 1, 2021, and the expiration of the agreement.
