Maine LD830 mandates barriers to conceal solar panel fields from abutting properties.
Maine LD830 amends site location laws to require the Department of Environmental Protection to find that solar energy developments are concealed from view from abutting properties. The law specifies that a barrier, such as a fence or vegetation, must sufficiently hide the solar energy development.
