Amends the Controlled Substances Prescription Monitoring Program to update the definition of "prescriber" and reporting requirements.

This bill amends the Controlled Substances Prescription Monitoring Program by updating the definition of "prescriber" to include licensed health care professionals and veterinarians who use telehealth to prescribe controlled substances to patients in Maine. It removes the specific list of required information to be reported to the program and grants the Department of Health and Human Services the authority to specify this information by rule. The annual reporting deadline is extended from January 15th to April 15th.
