Failed·1/13/26
Tpdf Text

Allows municipalities to approve overdose prevention centers where clients can self-administer controlled substances.

The bill allows municipalities to approve the establishment of overdose prevention centers. These centers offer health screening, disease prevention, and recovery support services. Clients can self-administer previously obtained controlled substances on the premises. The bill provides immunity from arrest, prosecution, and termination proceedings for those acting in accordance with the bill's provisions. Municipalities must require centers to provide annual reports and conduct peer-reviewed studies.
