Establishes the Respite for ME Program to provide respite care and supplemental services for family caregivers and older relative caregivers.
This bill repeals the existing law that directs the Department of Health and Human Services to administer the Respite Care Fund and establishes the Respite for ME Program. The Department of Health and Human Services will administer this new program to provide respite care and supplemental services for family caregivers and older relative caregivers, as defined in federal law.
