Establishes a commission to study and develop a legislative internship program.

This resolve establishes the Commission to Study a Legislative Internship Program. The commission will study and develop a structure for an internship program to match postsecondary education institution students with members of the Legislature to assist with policy work. The commission will submit a report to the Legislative Council by February 1, 2026, with recommendations for the internship program, including a pilot program starting in the First Regular Session of the 133rd Legislature.
