An Act to Enact the Agricultural Employees Concerted Activity Protection Act

The Agricultural Employees Concerted Activity Protection Act establishes rights for agricultural employees to engage in concerted activities, such as discussing wages and working conditions, without interference from employers. It prohibits employers from interfering with, restraining, or coercing employees regarding these activities and from retaliating against employees for engaging in them. The act also allows for complaints to be filed with the Maine Labor Relations Board and provides for hearings and potential relief, including back pay and compensation for losses.
