Maine LD54 mandates employers to disclose pay ranges in job postings and maintain employee pay histories.

Maine LD54 establishes pay transparency requirements for employers. Employers with or more employees must include a statement of the prospective pay range in job postings. Upon employee request, employers must disclose the pay range for the employee's position. Employers must also maintain records of each position held by an employee and the employee's pay history during and after employment.
