LD509

Allows a journeyman electrician to supervise up to three helper electricians.

This bill modifies the Maine Revised Statutes to allow a journeyman electrician to supervise up to three helper electricians, regardless of their enrollment or completion of a specific educational program. Previously, a journeyman electrician could only supervise one helper electrician unless the helper was enrolled in or had completed a 576-hour course of study. The change simplifies the supervision rules for journeyman electricians.
