Exempts sales of gold and silver coins and bullion from Maine's sales and use tax.

This bill provides a sales and use tax exemption for sales of gold and silver coins and bullion in Maine. The exemption applies to coins, bars, or rounds minted primarily of refined gold or silver that are marked and valued by their weight and purity. The exemption begins on January 1, 2026.
