Establishes the Maine Speedy Trial Act with specific time limits for trial commencement based on crime classification.

The Maine Speedy Trial Act sets forth time limits for the commencement of a defendant's criminal trial based on the date the complaint, indictment, or information was filed and the class of crime charged. For complaints filed between January 1, 2027, and January 1, 2029, trials must commence within specific months from arraignment. For complaints filed between January 1, 2029, and January 1, 2031, different time limits apply.
