An Act to Repeal Certain Motor Vehicle Inspection Requirements in Maine.

This bill repeals statutory provisions requiring inspections for certain motor vehicles in Maine. It removes requirements for inspections under Vehicle Safety Standards, the United States Environmental Protection Agency's pollutant requirements, and the National Highway Traffic and Safety Administration's crash testing standards. The repeal does not affect mopeds or motorcycles. The bill also exempts vehicles owned by organized veterans groups and used exclusively for ceremonial activities from inspection requirements.
