This bill exempts electrical and plumbing installations in manufactured housing from municipal inspections. It allows individuals to perform electrical installations in their own single-family residences and plumbing in single-family residences if they occupy it as their personal abode. The bill also exempts certain electrical and plumbing installations in manufactured housing from inspection if performed by licensed manufacturers. The bill aims to eliminate duplicative inspections and address uncertainty over inspection standards for manufactured housing.
