Establishes the Maine Blue Economy Center to support the growth of Maine's blue economy sector.

The bill establishes the Maine Blue Economy Center as a public instrumentality to support and expand Maine's blue economy sector. The center will serve as a coordinating organization for blue economy initiatives, facilitate research and development, conduct workforce analyses, and promote education and training. The center will also collect and publish data on the blue economy sector. The bill appropriates $1,000,000 for the center's start-up costs and requires the center to submit an interim report within 180 days of the board's appointment.
