This bill amends the automotive right to repair law to implement the recommendations of the Automotive Right to Repair Working Group. It establishes the Motor Vehicle Right to Repair Commission to monitor and assess implementation and compliance with the requirements of the automotive right to repair law. The commission is tasked with attempting to informally resolve complaints from vehicle owners and independent repair facilities alleging manufacturer noncompliance and considering whether to refer the matter to the Attorney General for potential enforcement action.
