This bill modifies procedures for state employee grievances and disputes, including time limits for grievance submission and responses. It exempts certain non-attorneys from unauthorized practice of law rules when representing the State in civil service appeals or arbitration. It also allows employees or their representatives to investigate grievances at the work location. The bill eliminates the Employee Suggestion System.
