This bill amends Maine's housing development laws by modifying rate of growth ordinances, clarifying accessory dwelling unit regulations, and updating municipal ordinance requirements. It also modifies provisions governing rate of growth ordinances to require that such an ordinance set the number of building or development permits for new residential dwellings.
