This bill amends the Boothbay-Boothbay Harbor Community School District charter to redefine the roles of the board of trustees and district school committee. The board of trustees is designated as the building and facilities governing committee, with authority over capital expenditures and the capital reserve fund. The district school committee is tasked with preparing the operating portion of the budget. The bill also removes the requirement for the board of trustees to issue a warrant for a district referendum on a general obligation bond issue of less than $250,000.
