Maine LD2106 prohibits individuals acting on behalf of public schools, state postsecondary educational institutions, health care facilities, child care facilities, family child care providers, and public libraries from providing voluntary consent to law enforcement officers engaged in immigration enforcement. This includes preventing officers from entering nonpublic areas or accessing, reviewing, or obtaining records. Exceptions apply for compliance with valid judicial warrants or exigent circumstances.
