Maine LD2095 prohibits bulk purchasing of lottery tickets or shares exceeding $100,000.

Maine LD2095 prohibits the purchase, in aggregate, of lottery tickets or shares exceeding $100,000. This applies to purchases made in a single transaction or multiple transactions, at a single retail location or multiple locations, and by an individual or multiple individuals acting in concert. The State Liquor and Lottery Commission can refuse payment of a prize for a winning ticket or share purchased as part of a bulk purchase. The commission must adopt rules related to bulk purchasing.
