Tpdf Text

Maine LD2031 offers a 50% discount on commercial shellfish license fees for honorably discharged U.S. military veterans.

Maine LD2031 amends the Maine Revised Statutes to provide a 50% discount on the license fee for a commercial shellfish license to applicants who are veterans of the United States Armed Forces and were honorably discharged. The fee for a commercial shellfish license is otherwise $58.25, but this bill reduces it for eligible veterans. The discount takes effect on January 1, 2027.
