Authorizes issuance of securities to modernize and consolidate judicial branch facilities in Maine.
This bill amends the Maine Revised Statutes to allow the issuance of securities for the modernization and consolidation of judicial branch facilities in Androscoggin, Cumberland, Franklin, Hancock, Penobscot, Sagadahoc, and Somerset counties. The total outstanding amount of these securities cannot exceed $205 million. The funds will cover costs related to planning, purchasing, financing, acquiring, constructing, renovating, furnishing, equipping, improving, extending, enlarging, and consolidating new and existing facilities and projects.
