This bill establishes the Community Workforce Connections Program to offer peer support and workforce navigation services to unemployed and underemployed individuals facing barriers to employment. The program, to be implemented statewide by October 1, 2025, will award multi-year contracts to qualified entities that meet performance requirements. Priority will be given to entities serving populations with significant barriers to employment, including racial and ethnic minorities, individuals with disabilities, and low-income individuals.
