Automatic sealing of criminal history record information for certain crimes in Maine.

This bill establishes a system for automatically sealing criminal history record information for certain crimes in Maine. The automatic sealing applies to convictions for Class A, B, C, D, and E crimes, provided certain conditions are met. For Class D and E crimes, years must have passed since the date of conviction, and the person must not have been convicted of any other crimes in the interim. For Class A, B, and C crimes, years must have passed since the date of conviction, and the person must have completed their sentence, including any supervised release.
