Maine LD1897 amends the Maine Medical Use of Cannabis Act and the Cannabis Legalization Act to redefine "sun-grown cultivators" and "sun-grown cultivation." It increases the number of cannabis plants and the area of canopy that a medical use caregiver who is a sun-grown cultivator and registers based on annual plant count or canopy may cultivate. The bill also establishes a registration fee for such caregivers.
