This bill modifies the tariff rate for nonresidential customers participating in Maine's net energy billing programs.

This bill amends the tariff rate for nonresidential customers participating in Maine's net energy billing programs. It sets the tariff rate for distributed generation resources greater than one megawatt and those one megawatt or less. The Public Utilities Commission must adopt rules to implement these changes by January 1, 2026. The amendments to the Maine Revised Statutes take effect on January 1, 2026.
